Fort Wayne, Ind. – September 15, 2014 – Medical Informatics Engineering (MIE), a web-based, health information technology solutions provider serving patients, physicians, health systems and Fortune 500 organizations operating employee health clinics, today announced the appointment of several new team members. These new employees join the company at a time of exponential growth for MIE’s Enterprise Health division.
Dave Whisler, the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Mike Krouse, Chief Information Security Officer, will both play a strategic role on the Senior Executive Management Team.
As the Chief Financial Officer, Whisler will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the financial plans for MIE and its business divisions, Enterprise Health, WebChart and NoMoreClipboard. Whisler comes to MIE after serving as CFO and Controller at CN Richard Ellis / Sturgess in Fort Wayne, IN, for the past 11 years. Prior to that, Whisler was in investment sales at Fifth Third Bank and National City Bank.
As Chief Information Security Officer, Krouse will develop and direct the company’s corporate security strategy and security architecture, and provide oversight for all data and information security policies, standards and roles. He will also lead corporate security and privacy awareness and training for MIE employees and clients. Prior to his new role at MIE, Krouse served as the Information Security Officer at Star Financial Group in Fort Wayne, IN.
