Implementation Project Manager/Technical Sales Specialist

An Implementation Project Manager (IPM) is responsible for driving successful integration of MIE solutions into various client locations, beginning with supporting the sale of those solutions. The IPM will operate in support of the field sales representatives, offering technical demonstrations of MIE’s solutions in person and through the use of Web-based tools. The IPM role is intended to offer the consultative expertise of a project manager and implementer of MIE solutions during the sales cycle. The IPM will also act as lead implementer to deliver MIE solutions to named clients.

The IPM role is a mid-level position requiring a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism. This position requires 4+ years healthcare software implementation experience, with the ideal candidate being technology-oriented, possessing in-depth understanding of the physician office. Optimally, the candidate will also have multiple years’ experience working directly in the clinical setting. Software demo skills, strong interpersonal skills, and communications skills are required. Currently seeking to fill positions in select cities throughout the U.S., and at MIE’s corporate headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

   Essential Functions:

• Primary responsibility is to drive all technical sales demonstrations for sales staff.
• Differentiate MIE solutions by demonstrating their use in a clinical setting.
• Secondary responsibility is to actively manage implementations, to stay current on all functionality of the MIE suite of solutions, and to stay focused on client-driven solutions.
• Responsible for planning, organizing and delegating the implementation of applications and interfaces.
• Evaluate the best way clients would benefit from their solution, and produce the most effective training material.
• Conduct post-implementation follow up to ensure client satisfaction.
• Serve as the implementation expert, directly assisting clients on "tough" support issues.
• Help extend client confidence and satisfaction by acting as a liaison between clients and internal business units.

   Skills and Qualifications:

• A history of consultative sales, using needs assessment skills to align MIE solutions with client needs.
• Oral presentation and training skills, and public speaking experience.
• Well educated with a relevant Bachelors degree or equivalent.
• A minimum of four years experience in a similar role.
• A seasoned professional with a strong background in the software industry, preferably in medical software.
• Extensive implementation skills, to include pre-sales support and creation of scope; pre-implementation budgeting and timeline planning; project management with respect to adherence to milestones, timelines, and budgets; and post-implementation needs assessment for customization and enhancement of solutions.
• Computer literate with experience in using MS Office, Internet, e-mail, and browser-based applications.
• A proven track record of delivering implementations on-time and on-budget.

An Implementation Specialist (IS) will coordinate the successful integration of MIE products into client enterprises. The IS must operate as the single point of contact throughout the lifecycle of a project. Inside Sales Specialist - Fort Wayne, IN

The Inside Sales Specialist position involves cold-calling, lead-generation, lead follow-up, lead qualification - essentially turning "cold" leads into "qualified" sales opportunities. In daily efforts of lead generation, the successful candidate will qualify opportunities and assist our field sales managers with setting up appointments.

Microsoft Systems Engineer - Fort Wayne, IN

MIE is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our group as a Microsoft Systems Engineer. This position relies heavily upon good troubleshooting and R&D skills. The Microsoft Systems Engineer’s responsibilities include: Daily maintenance and troubleshooting of deployed servers and applications, Active Directory maintenance, recommend and maintain strategic hardware and software platforms in cooperation with the Systems Administrator. The ability to take on new projects and see them to their completion, with little direct supervision is a must. Participate in special projects to configure, install, and diagnose network and server equipment. Troubleshoot problems with connectivity and availability of network servers, nightly backups and associated applications. Assist in engineering and maintaining fault-tolerant computer environment including hardware, cooling, and power. Selecting, installing, and maintaining new hardware and mass-storage devices. Provide professional and comprehensive reports both written and oral.

   Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong background in Microsoft Windows Server 2000, 2003 and upcoming 2008
• Strong background with Active Directory deployment and management in a multi-server environment including group policies
• Strong background with Microsoft Exchange Server 2000, 2003, 2007
